Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to Press (the "Application"), published by Zentsu LLC. Zentsu LLC is referred to below as "we," "us," or the "Service Provider."

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

Press converts the video and image files you provide entirely on your Mac, through Apple's AVFoundation and ImageIO frameworks and the libwebp library bundled with the app. It does not send those files, their contents, or their names to Zentsu. Registration is not required, and Press has no Zentsu account system, analytics, advertising, or telemetry. Press keeps a record of the folders you grant it access to, on your Mac only, so it can save converted files next to their sources.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your device. Location data embedded in a photo you convert stays in the original file and is not copied into the converted image.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application does not transmit your files to Zentsu, so Zentsu has no such content to share. Apple processes the App Store download, the optional Press Pro purchase, and purchase restoration under its own terms and privacy policy. Zentsu does not receive your payment-card details from those transactions.

What information does the website collect?

The website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling. Our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. The general Zentsu privacy policy describes the email update forms elsewhere on the site; the Press pages carry none.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop using the Application by uninstalling it through the standard process on your device or application marketplace. Removing Press also removes the folder-access records it kept.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Applications and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Applications and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Applications and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at [email protected] so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Application does not send your files to Zentsu LLC. Website information is limited to the processing described above. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
