Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
This privacy policy explains what Zentsu LLC receives through the zentsu.app website and how applications published by Zentsu LLC (the "Applications") handle information. Zentsu LLC is referred to below as "we," "us," or the "Service Provider."
How do the Applications handle information?
Zentsu does not receive the content or records you create inside the Applications. Registration with Zentsu is not required. Each Application uses different storage and Apple services, so its product-specific policy provides the complete details:
Bench processes your work on your Mac. Coil stores its records on your devices and in the private iCloud database tied to your Apple Account. Dial stores its records on your device and can use a private CloudKit database for specified core records when you turn on its iCloud control. Dial's weight entries and progress photos use separate local storage, and body-weight access through Apple Health is optional.
Do the Applications collect precise real time location information of the device?
The Applications do not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Applications?
Zentsu does not receive app content or records to share. Some Application features rely on Apple services, including App Store downloads and purchases, Coil's private iCloud storage, and Dial's optional private CloudKit and Health access. Apple processes data for those services under its own terms and privacy policy. The product-specific policies linked above explain which services each Application uses.
What information does the website collect?
The website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling. Our hosting provider processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
If you subscribe to Bench product notes, the signup form sends your email address to Buttondown, our email service provider. Buttondown also records the IP address and referrer metadata associated with the signup. We use the subscriber record only for the updates described beside that form. We do not enable open tracking or link tracking in these emails, and we do not sell subscriber information.
How long is newsletter information kept?
Buttondown stores the subscriber record on our behalf. We keep a Bench product-notes subscription until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we discontinue the list. Existing Dial update subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe or we discontinue that list. You can unsubscribe from any email or ask us to delete your record by emailing [email protected]. Buttondown may retain limited information where required by law or in isolated backups until those backups are deleted under its retention process.
Who processes newsletter information?
Buttondown LLC processes newsletter information for Zentsu LLC to manage subscriptions and send email. Its practices are described in Buttondown's privacy policy. You may request access, correction, or deletion of the newsletter information we control by contacting [email protected].
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop using an Application by uninstalling it through the standard process on your device or application marketplace. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link, and you may also contact us to request deletion.
Children
The Applications are not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Applications and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Applications and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Applications and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at [email protected] so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
Security
The Applications do not send your content or records to Zentsu LLC. App data handled by Apple services is subject to the storage and security controls described in each product-specific policy. Website and newsletter information is limited to the processing described above. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
Your choices
Submitting an email form asks us to send the updates described beside that form and permits the related processing described above. You can withdraw that request at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before your request.
Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using our Applications, or have questions about our practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at [email protected].
